    Your Right to Data Deletion

    Under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) of South Africa, you have the right to request deletion of your personal information. This page allows you to submit a data deletion request for information collected through the Debt Review Centre mobile app.

    What Happens When You Request Data Deletion?

    Data That Will Be Deleted:

    • Your account login credentials
    • Personal contact information (name, email, phone number)
    • App usage data and preferences
    • Uploaded documents and files
    • Communication history within the app

    Data That May Be Retained:

    • Information required for legal and regulatory compliance under the National Credit Act
    • Financial records required for audit purposes (anonymized where possible)
    • Data necessary for ongoing legal proceedings or obligations

    We are legally required to retain certain financial and debt review records for a specified period under South African law.

    Processing Time:

    We will process your request within 30 days of verification. You will receive an email confirmation once your data has been deleted.

    Important Note:

    Deleting your data will permanently remove your access to the app and all associated services. If you have an active debt review account, please contact your debt counsellor before proceeding with this request.
